If you never signed in, there is nothing to delete here. Sentio is offline-first: signed out, your measurements exist only on your phone, and uninstalling the app removes them. An account exists only if you chose to sign in with Google to sync.
How to request deletion
Email info@sntio.org from the address you signed in with, with the subject Delete my Sentio account. Sending it from the address on the account is how we confirm the request is yours; if you cannot, tell us and we will verify another way.
You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask you for one.
What gets deleted
- Your account record, including your Google account identifier, email address and name.
- Every measurement, object, scenario and calibration you have synced.
This is a permanent deletion, not a deactivation, and it cannot be undone.
How long it takes
We delete the account and its data within 30 days of a verified request, and confirm by email once it is done. Copies in our rolling backups are overwritten within a further 30 days.
Data on your phone
Deleting your account removes what is on our servers. The copy on your device is yours and is not touched — delete individual measurements in the app, or uninstall it to remove everything at once. The two are independent on purpose: the app is meant to keep working after you have deleted the account.
Deleting some data instead of all of it
You can delete individual measurements and objects in the app at any time, and that deletion syncs to your other devices. If you would rather keep your account and remove only part of what you have synced, do that in the app — you do not need to contact us.
